About Composition
L-Methylfolate is a naturally occurring form of vitamin B that is necessary for maintaining important functions in the body. It is a vitamin supplement used to treat nutritional deficiency and anaemia (low number of red blood cells). The higher dose of this medicine (7.5mg to 15mg) is also used as an adjunctive in treating decreased folate levels or hyperhomocysteinemia (high levels of amino acid in the blood) in Schizophrenia (a mental disorder that affects a person’s ability to think, feel, and perceive reality) or Depression (a mood disorder with a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest). L-Methylfolate can reduce certain birth defects of the brain and spinal cord by more than 70 percent. These birth defects are called neural tube defects (NTDs). NTDs happen when the spinal cord fails to close properly. The most common neural tube defect is spina bifida. This occurs when part of the baby’s spinal cord remains outside the body. The baby may have paralyzed legs and later may develop bladder and bowel control problems. The most serious neural tube defect is anencephaly. The baby is born without part of its skull and brain, and eventually dies.
L-MethylFolate also may help lower your chances of getting heart disease and some types of cancers. It may help protect you from having a stroke as well.
Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) is vital for the formation of red blood cells as well as for the proper functioning and health of nerve tissue. If left untreated, the deficiency can lead to anemia as well as nerve and brain damage, which may eventually become irreversible.
Benefits & requirement of Vitamin B12
Cyanocobalamin is a source of power micronutrient for a whole host of reasons. Your body needs Vitamin B12 for:
Digestion, food absorption, iron usage and metabolism
Female reproductive health and pregnancy
Healthy functioning of nervous system
Promotion of normal nerve growth and development
Regulation and formation of red blood cells
Healthy immune system function
Gives physical, emotional and mental vigor
Initial signs and symptoms of Cyanocobalamin deficiency might be subtle – but in time, they become more noticeable.
Several studies undertaken globally show that women with Cyanocobalamin deficiency in early pregnancy were up to five times more likely to have a child with neural tube defects such as spina bifida, compared to women with high levels of vitamin B12. It’s been noted that folic acid fortification in food helps to lower the prevalence of neural tube defects by about 50% to 70%.
Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (PLP) is a Vitamin active form of Pyridoxine and a medication used to treat Vitamin B6 deficiency and the management of nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It is also used in Vitamin B6 dependency syndromes and controversially used in some other disorders. PLP, the functioning structure in the body, mainly serves as a coenzyme in amino acid, protein, carbohydrate, and lipid metabolism. In addition to neurotransmitter synthesis, it is also involved in glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis.
Vitamin D deficiency is common and there exists a huge gap between recommended dietary vitamin D intakes and the poor vitamin D supply in the general population. While Vitamin D is important for musculoskeletal health, there are accumulating data suggesting that Vitamin D may also be important for fertility, pregnancy outcomes and lactation. Vitamin D supplementation improves fertility or decreases the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes such as low birth weight, pre-eclampsia and neonatal mortality, or reduces wheeze/asthma in the infants.
Biotin is a water-soluble vitamin that plays various biological roles through histone modification, such as immune functions and fetal growth. Mammalian maternal biotin deficiency during gestation induces fetal growth restriction. Preterm infants are known to be marginal biotin deficiency.

Benefits
L-MethylFolate is the primary biologically active isomer of folic acid and the primary form of folate in circulation. L-MethylFolate is a form of vitamin B9. It plays a vital role in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout the body. It is also essential in pregnancy due to its role in the development of the unborn baby’s brain and spinal cord. Cyanocobalamin is a form of vitamin B12 that restores its level in the body thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is a nutritional supplement that provides essential nutrients to our body and improves overall health. Vitamin D3 is a form of vitamin D. It raises vitamin D levels in your blood. This in turn raises calcium levels in your blood by helping you absorb more calcium from food. Biotin is used for biotin deficiency. It is also commonly used for hair loss, brittle nails, and other conditions.
